This is for Heather if you return and read this: God says to seek Him whole-heartedly and He will give you the desires of your heart! (Psalm 34:4-5) My husband and I struggled with infertility for 6 years including many tests and treatments. Adoption was the path to parenthood that God had chosen for us. I realized that the desire of my heart was to be a mom and it didn't really matter how God accomplished that. I still struggle with barreness but that is a heart matter and I'm still in the process of restoration and healing there!! It is great that you are open to adoption and from where you are sitting, 3 years must seem like an eternity but God's time is not our time and He still may have biological children planned for you. Keep your eyes on Him and He will guide your steps! |

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 years. This past week the doctors basically told us there was nothing further they could do for us other than to refer us to a Reproductive Specialist. We have decided to look into adoption. I have started taking classes for the Foster to Adopt through our county DSS. Maybe this is the route God had planned for us. |
